They fail because the operating logic, how decisions get made, how people are treated, how standards are maintained under pressure, was never made explicit. It lived in norms, assumptions, and the instincts of founding leaders. And then the organization grew.

I work with mission-driven organizations at inflection points: the moment when implicit culture stops being enough, when the gap between stated values and daily experience starts to show, when growth is creating friction no one can quite name.

I'm Ruth Achillah: a systems translator with 15 years of experience building organizational infrastructure across East Africa and globally. I've designed enterprise-wide operating frameworks, led culture transformation across organizations of 10,000+ people, and managed programs and initiatives with budgets exceeding $5M.
